Astronomy to inspect. Symbolism to consider.

1. Who may use Ecliptic Echo

You must be at least 18 and legally able to agree to these Terms where you live. If you do not meet both requirements, do not use the App.

2. What the App provides

Ecliptic Echo calculates celestial positions, angles, phases, horizon coordinates, apparent motion, and locations within International Astronomical Union constellation boundaries for an entered time and place. It may also display optional astrology-inspired stories, role labels, and reflection prompts.

The astronomical layer is computational. The symbolic layer is creative and cultural: it is not established causal science and is not a validated way to predict personality, compatibility, health, behavior, luck, or future events. The App is for education, curiosity, and reflection—not fortune-telling presented as fact.

3. Not professional advice

Do not use Ecliptic Echo to make medical, mental-health, legal, financial, safety, fertility, relationship, or other high-stakes decisions. Consult an appropriately qualified professional when advice is needed. No chart, prompt, badge, or daily comparison is a diagnosis, instruction, warning, or prediction.

4. Inputs, calculation limits, and availability

Results depend on the accuracy of the date, local time, place, time zone, coordinates, elevation, software, and source data. Clock changes can make some local times ambiguous or nonexistent. Objects near a constellation or horizon boundary may change classification with small differences in time, position, reference frame, or atmospheric assumptions.

We aim to describe calculation methods and uncertainty honestly, but do not promise uninterrupted availability or error-free results. Open-Meteo, operating-system services, network access, and linked sites may change, fail, or be unavailable. Optional NASA/JPL Horizons lookups may also change, fail, or be unavailable. Ecliptic Echo is not sponsored or endorsed by Open-Meteo, NASA, JPL, the IAU, Apple, or any linked publisher or author.

5. Your responsibilities

• Enter and share only information you are entitled to use.
• Do not submit another person's birth details, markers, or chart to support or a sharing service without their permission.
• Review every generated image, support report, attachment, recipient, and destination before sending.
• Do not misuse the App to harm, harass, impersonate, profile, or make consequential decisions about another person.
• Do not interfere with the App, its services, security controls, or third-party data services.

6. Local markers, sharing, and support

“Noticed” markers and preferences may be stored only on your device and can be lost when storage is cleared or the App is removed. You are responsible for any copy you save or share. A device share sheet is operated by your device and chosen destination, not by Ecliptic Echo.

The support feature prepares information locally and opens your mail app. Nothing is delivered until you send it. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and is not an emergency service. Privacy details are in the Privacy Policy.

7. Purchases and subscriptions

Ecliptic Echo does not currently offer paid purchases or subscriptions. No preview, locked card, or description of a possible future feature is an offer for sale or creates a right to that feature. If paid access is introduced, the App will show the price, duration, renewal terms, included features, and cancellation method before purchase. Store purchases will also be governed by the applicable store's terms, and these Terms will be updated as needed.

8. Ownership and permitted use

Ecliptic Echo's original interface, writing, artwork, branding, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App. Third-party names, source data, libraries, publications, and links remain subject to their respective rights and terms.

You may save and share chart images produced for your personal use, provided you do not remove source or limitation notices, misrepresent them as scientific evidence of personality or prediction, or use them to violate another person's rights.

9. Changes and discontinuation

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. When a Terms change materially affects your use, we will provide an appropriate notice and update the date above. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect means you accept them, except where law requires another form of consent.

10. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will always be available, complete, or error-free. Ecliptic Echo is not responsible for decisions made from symbolic material, inaccurate inputs, unavailable third-party services, or content you choose to save or share. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights, warranties, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
